Designed by Calm Studio, Home in the Hills sits on a slope in Kodaikanal, southern India with a view of the surrounding forests allowing plenty of sunlight and warmth throughout the house.

The architects were asked to build the house with mobility in mind for their client's needs, despite the challenging topography, particularly in the entry and principal areas of the house. These areas are all on the upper level of the building with an immediate connection to the rear landscape.
